Ten minutes before a customer meeting, most sales reps do the same thing: open the account, scroll through activity history, check the open opportunities, look up who the contacts are, and maybe search the web for news. It is repetitive work, and when it gets skipped, the meeting shows it.
Meet Prep in AI Engine turns that routine into one click. It reads the record and its related data and writes a one-page Meeting Brief directly in Salesforce.
What is in the brief
The brief appears in the Sales Agent panel as a card with clear sections:
| Section | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| π― Meeting Objective | What the meeting should achieve |
| π’ Company Snapshot | A short description of the company and the relationship |
| π₯ Key Contacts | On an Account, up to five recently updated contacts; on an Opportunity, up to five contact roles |
| π Recent News | Recent news from a web search, if your admin turned it on |
| πΌ Open Opportunities | On an Account, up to five open deals, soonest close date first |
| π Related Records | Records from related objects your admin chose |
| π¬ Talking Points | Topics to raise, linked to the customer's needs |
| β οΈ Risks & Objections | What could go wrong and what the customer may push back on |
| π Proposed Agenda | A suggested running order |
| π Recent Activity | A summary of recent tasks and events |
| π Personal Notes | Personal details from notes, such as a holiday or a hobby, to build rapport |
Sections without content are left out, so a new lead gets a short brief and a long-standing account gets a full one.
Where the information comes from
The brief is built from data that already exists in Salesforce:
- The record itself, for example an Account, Opportunity, Lead or Contact. On an Opportunity, the stage is taken into account.
- Recent activity: up to six recent tasks and four recent events linked to the record.
- Related objects your admin selected for meeting prep, such as Cases, Quotes or a custom project object, when the brief runs on an Account or an Opportunity.
- Your company's playbook: the value proposition, tone and rules an admin wrote once for the whole team. If the playbook restricts personal topics, the AI leaves personal notes out.
- Optionally, the web. With web search turned on, Meet Prep looks for recent news about the company before writing the brief. It takes a little longer.
The more activity is logged against the record, the more specific the brief. If a brief is thin on a record with a lot of history, the usual cause is that activities are logged elsewhere, or the related objects are not set up for Meet Prep.
Share it as a PDF
Click Download PDF on the card. The brief is saved to Salesforce Files on the record and downloaded to your computer, ready to print or forward to a colleague joining the call.
Written in your language
The brief follows the language selected in the Sales Agent, so a team in Poland, Spain or France can prepare in their own language while the CRM data stays as it is.
Security and data
Meet Prep follows the same rules as the rest of AI Engine. It uses the user's own Salesforce permissions, only the objects and fields an admin enabled, and optional masking of personal data before anything reaches the AI provider. AI Engine does not store the full text of the brief or the prompt; the activity log keeps usage metadata, plus a short error message when a call fails.
Check before you walk in
An AI brief is a starting point, not a script. Check facts before the meeting, especially news items and personal notes. The brief can only be as accurate as the data behind it.
Summary
- One click on a record builds a one-page brief: objective, contacts, talking points, risks, agenda and recent activity.
- It uses the record, recent tasks and events, related objects and your playbook, with optional web news.
- Download it as a PDF saved to the record.
- It follows the user's permissions and the admin's data settings.
