1.Who we are#

This website (cloudconnected.io) and the AI Engine product are operated by Cloud Connected, the company identified above ("we", "us", "Cloud Connected"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

The Sunhive Quest game (quest.html) is a separate service with its own privacy notice; this policy does not cover it.

For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at contact@cloudconnected.pl.

2.What this policy covers#

This policy explains how we handle personal data that reaches us: through this website (the contact form, the live demo and the assistants), when your organisation requests a licence or support for AI Engine, and when you write to us. Section 9 lists what this website stores in your browser.

It does not cover the data your users process with AI Engine inside your Salesforce org. AI Engine runs in your org and sends requests directly to the AI provider your organisation chose. Cloud Connected does not receive or process that data, and your organisation is its controller.

3.What data we collect#

We collect the data you choose to give us, and the technical data needed to run the features you use:

  • Contact form and messages: your name, work email address, company name (optional) and your message. Netlify also records the technical details of the submission, such as your IP address and browser, and checks each submission for spam with Akismet (Automattic). If you email us, book a call on Calendly or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send there.
  • Licence requests and customer contacts: when someone sends the Request a License form in AI Engine, Salesforce emails us your org's name and org ID, that person's name and email address, the number of users and licence period requested, and any note typed into the form. We also keep the contact details and correspondence of the people we deal with at customer organisations, and anything you send us in a support request.
  • Live demo: when you start the live demo, we receive a notification with the email address you entered (optional) and technical details of the request: IP address, the approximate location derived from it (usually country and city; occasionally also region, time zone and approximate coordinates), browser and device type, the page you came from and your browser language. Questions you ask AI Engine in the demo, and the demo records they concern, are sent from the demo org to OpenAI or Anthropic to generate the answers. Anything you enter inside the demo Salesforce org is stored in that shared demo org, which is reset periodically; please do not enter real customer data there.
  • AI assistants on this website: the questions you type into "Ask AI Engine" on the homepage or "Ask AI" in the Help Center, together with the earlier messages of that conversation, are sent to Anthropic to generate the answer. We do not keep the conversation text. The Help Center assistant uses your IP address briefly, in memory only, to limit the number of requests, and your browser keeps that conversation until you close the tab (see section 9). Please do not type personal or confidential information into these assistants.
  • Website statistics: we use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views and a few events without cookies. Plausible uses your IP address and browser details only to count unique visitors and to derive your country: it combines them with a salt that changes every day and does not store them. We see aggregated figures such as pages visited, referring websites, browser, operating system, device type and country. The events we count include clicks on "Book a 30-min demo", answers from the Help Center assistant, and starts of the live demo (with whether an email address was entered). On phones, the demo page also records the screen size and the first 80 characters of the browser's identification string (user agent), so that we can see which devices it turns away.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

4.How we use your data#

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo or trial.
  • To provide information about AI Engine that you have requested.
  • To follow up on a conversation you started with us.
  • To issue, renew and administer licences, invoice, and provide support.
  • To know when a live demo starts, follow up on it and prevent misuse of the demo.
  • To answer the questions you type into the assistants on this website.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

  • Enquiries and messages: your request (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our product (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Licence requests, customer contacts and support: taking steps before, and performing, the contract with your organisation, and our legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Invoices and accounting records are kept as Polish tax and accounting law requires (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Live demo notification, website assistants, website statistics and web fonts: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in running the demo and the assistants you choose to use, preventing misuse, improving the website and displaying it properly. The email address in the demo form is optional.

Transfers outside the EEA#

Some of the providers listed below are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6.Service providers we use#

To run this website and respond to you, we use the following providers. Most of them process data on our behalf; Google (fonts) receives your IP address as an independent recipient:

  • Netlify: website hosting, the website's server functions (demo start, AI assistants) and contact-form handling, including spam filtering by Akismet (Automattic Inc., USA).
  • Anthropic: generates the answers of the AI assistants on this website and some of the AI answers in the live demo.
  • OpenAI: generates AI answers in the live demo.
  • Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, hosted in the EU): cookieless website statistics.
  • Resend: delivers the notification email we receive when someone starts the live demo.
  • Salesforce: hosts the demo org used by the live demo; like any website it receives your IP address and browser details while you use it.
  • Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC, USA, EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework): serves the fonts used on most pages of this website. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.

Services you open yourself#

These services are independent of us and process your data under their own terms and privacy policies:

  • Calendly: when you choose to book a call, scheduling happens on Calendly's own site, opened in a new tab. We receive the booking details you enter there.
  • WhatsApp: if you use the WhatsApp button, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp (Meta). We receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and your messages.
We deliberately keep third parties to a minimum and avoid tracking technologies on this site.

7.How long we keep your data#

  • Enquiries and messages: only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again.
  • Live demo notifications: only as long as needed to follow up on the demo.
  • Questions typed into the website assistants: not stored by us. The Help Center conversation stays in your browser until you close the tab.
  • Licence and customer-contact data: for the duration of the customer relationship, then for as long as needed to handle possible claims and for the periods required by tax and accounting law.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.

8.Your rights#

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • request a copy in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on your consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).

To exercise any of these, email contact@cloudconnected.pl.

9.Cookies and browser storage#

In short

  • This website sets no cookies of its own for visitors.
  • There are no advertising, tracking or cross-site cookies, and no advertising or tracking tools.
  • Our statistics (Plausible) work without cookies and store nothing in your browser.
  • A few features keep small values in your browser's local storage or session storage. They are listed in the table below.

Local storage keeps a value in your browser until you delete it; session storage keeps it only until you close the tab. Both belong to cloudconnected.io alone, so other websites cannot read them, and unlike cookies they are not sent to our servers with every request: the website's own scripts read them in your browser.

NameTypeSet byPurposeWhen it is setHow long it lasts
Stored in your browser by this website
cc-lang Local storage This website Remembers your homepage language (English, Polish, Spanish or French), so the homepage opens in that language on your next visit. Only when you choose a language in the homepage language switch. Until you delete this site's data.
hcAskHistory-en
hcAskHistory-pl
Session storage This website Keeps your conversation with the Help Center "Ask AI" assistant while you move between Help Center pages: the last 12 messages, meaning your questions, the answers and their source links. It holds whatever you typed. When you ask the assistant a question or start a new conversation. Opening the assistant stores nothing. Until you close the tab.
cc_tablet_hint Local storage This website Stops the tablet hint on the live demo page from appearing again. When you tap "Got it" on that hint (tablets only). Until you delete this site's data.
Requests to other services when a page opens
Plausible Analytics plausible.io Third-party request Plausible Insights OÜ Cookieless visit statistics, described in section 3. When a page opens, and when one of the counted events happens. No cookies, nothing stored in your browser. Your IP address is not stored.
Google Fonts fonts.googleapis.comfonts.gstatic.com Third-party request Google Delivers the typefaces of this website. Google receives your IP address and browser details. When a page opens, on most pages of this website. No cookies. Your browser may keep the font files in its normal cache.
Only after you click
Live demo sign-in (Salesforce) Third-party cookies Salesforce Signs you in to the shared demo org. Only after you click "Start Demo". Set on Salesforce's own domain and controlled by Salesforce. The demo signs you out when the session ends. The demo org also keeps the demo start time and the number of extensions in local storage on the Salesforce domain, to run the session timer; they are deleted when the demo signs you out.
Calendly, WhatsApp, Salesforce install links Link The service you open Booking a call, chatting with us, or installing AI Engine, on that service's own site. Nothing is loaded from the service or sent to it until you click. After you click, the service's own cookies and privacy policy apply.
Sunhive Quest (separate service on this domain)
sfquest_save_v1
questLegalLang
sb-…-auth-token
sfpkce
Local storage Sunhive Quest Game progress and your notes; the language of the Quest legal pages; your game sign-in session; a temporary code used while you connect a Salesforce org. Progress and language when those pages open; the session when you sign in; the temporary code when you connect an org. Until you delete this site's data. The session lasts until you sign out; the temporary code is deleted once the connection completes.

The Plausible script also checks for a local-storage flag called plausible_ignore, which our staff set on their own devices to leave their visits out of the statistics. It is never set for visitors.

When the Sunhive Quest game page opens, it also loads its sign-in library from jsDelivr, reads public reviews from Supabase and requests link icons from Google's favicon service. The game is covered by the Sunhive Quest privacy notice.

The only cookie on this domain belongs to the site's content editor at /admin/, which is not linked from the website and is used only by our staff: Netlify Identity sets a sign-in cookie (nf_jwt) there, and the editor keeps its sign-in and draft data in local storage.

This website does not embed content from other services: there are no booking widgets, videos, maps, social plug-ins or chat widgets. Calendly, WhatsApp and the Salesforce install links are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from those services and nothing is sent to them until you click. When you click, the service opens on its own site, where its own cookies and privacy policy apply. Calendly is told only that you came from cloudconnected.io; WhatsApp is not told where you came from.

How to control and delete it#

  • Delete it: in your browser's privacy settings, look for "site data" or "website data" and delete the entry for cloudconnected.io. For example, in Firefox click the padlock icon and choose Clear cookies and site data; in Safari on a Mac open Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; in Chrome and Edge open the site information icon next to the address, then the site settings, and delete the data.
  • Session storage is deleted when you close the tab. The New button in the Help Center assistant also clears the conversation.
  • Block it: you can block site data for cloudconnected.io, or browse in a private window, which discards it when you close the window. The website still works: your language choice and dismissed hints are simply not remembered, and the assistant conversation does not carry over between Help Center pages.
  • Statistics and fonts: a content blocker can stop the requests to Plausible and Google Fonts. The website then uses your system fonts.
