Branding the Sales Agent

Change the Sales Agent's title and logo, switch on the modern interface, and understand how in-app branding differs from PDF branding.

You can give the Sales Agent chat your own name and logo, and choose between the classic and the modern interface. These settings apply to all users. PDF documents have their own branding, set separately.

  1. Open Ai Agent Admin Setup → Org Profile and click the existing profile card to edit it.
  2. In the Branding card:
    • App Name (optional): the title shown in the Sales Agent header. Leave it empty to show the default title, "SALES AGENT".
    • Logo URL (optional): the address of your logo image. It replaces the default cloud icon. Use a square image of at least 40 × 40 pixels.
  3. Check the Preview under the logo field. If the image cannot be loaded, the field is cleared and a message says the URL is invalid or inaccessible.
  4. Click ✓ Save at the top of the form.

Users see the new name and logo the next time they open or reload the chat.

Logo address#

The logo is loaded by each user's browser, so the address must work for every user, not only for you. Use one of these:

  • A public HTTPS address, for example your website's logo file or an image on a public CDN. It must open without signing in.
  • A Salesforce Static Resource. In Setup → Static Resources, click New, enter a name and upload the image. Then enter its relative address, /resource/ followed by the resource name, for example /resource/CompanyLogo.

Modern interface#

Modern Interface in the AI Settings card of the Org Profile switches the chat to the modern theme, with the Archivo typeface and animations. The classic theme is the default. The setting applies to every user the next time they open or reload the chat, so if you want to preview it first, try it in a sandbox.

Dark mode#

Dark mode is a personal choice. Each user switches it with the ☾/☀ button in the chat header, in either theme. See Voice input, dark mode and Help mode.

PDF branding is separate#

The name, logo, colours and footer printed on PDFs are set in the PDF Settings tab, so documents can look different from the chat. In PDFs created from chat answers and PDF templates, the header shows the App Name only when Company Name in Header is empty. See PDF settings.

Troubleshooting#

  • The logo does not appear for users. Open the Logo URL in a private browser window. If it asks for a login or does not load, host the image elsewhere or use a Static Resource. If the image loads there but not in Salesforce, your org may block images from that domain: add the domain in Setup → Trusted URLs with the img-src directive allowed.
  • The title or theme did not change for users. Ask them to reload the page.
